Moonlighting is the innovative duo of vocalist Seersha and guitarist Micah Cadwell, forging an unparalleled blend of vocal jazz and 80s new wave they've dubbed "jazzwave." Seersha's solo synthwave career and immersion in 80s music history merge with Micah's years as a sought-after guitarist on the Southeast jazz circuit.
The result is a fresh, captivating sound that's been likened to "The Smiths meets Sarah Vaughan." Their sophisticated set list of standards, alternative, and pop favorites, from the 1920s to the 1980s, is sure to delight any refined audience.
2026 brings the band's first original music releases, showcasing the full breadth of their influences. Moonlighting has performed at venues and festivals including Smith's Olde Bar, Eddie's Attic, The Fox Theatre, The Buckhead Theater, Cobb Energy Center, Folk Alliance International, 30A Songwriters Festival, and Atlanta Jazz Fest.
